4. Take a Romantic Beach Walk

When was the last time you took a slow and restful stroll down a beautiful beach with your partner? It is good for the soul to experience the openness and fresh air with your loved one. 

There are many beaches you could choose. Head out to the beaches of the Ile de Ré. Here you will find 10 kilometers of fine sandy beaches with a beautiful backdrop of pine trees. Even though it is popular it has a feeling of being isolated and remote. Perfect for a romantic walk or just getting away from it all.

7. Take a Romantic Boat Trip Through the Marais Poitevin

This is a magical place. You could almost imagine meeting Tinkerbell here. You will find it enchanting and beautiful. Originally this area was a marshland and roughly a thousand years ago was part of the coastal area.

8. Experience the Renaissance
