If you’re anything like us, you want to be wowed by views when you go camping. Enter The Dorset Hideaway, which offers amazing views in abundance. This camping, caravanning and glamping site (yes, that’s right, it’s a triple treat of a park) is situated close to the Jurassic Coast of West Dorset and provides campers with panoramic views of some of the most gorgeous, unspoilt countryside you’ll ever see and the highest hills to be found inland.
The Dorset Hideaway is a small and luxurious park. The amenities are of the highest standard and whether guests stay in a tent, a caravan or a glamping canvas cottage, they can avail of the activities and facilities the park offers.
There are 59 pitches, seven with hardstanding. All pitches, except the full grass ones, are separated by a hedge so campers are guaranteed their privacy. Pets are welcome at this park too.
The park offers activities as diverse as art classes to fishing in their own fully stocked pond! With the Jurassic Coast very nearby, a fossil hunt is an option too. Children are well taken care of with a play area and a farmyard of animals to meet.
The site is a dark skies site which means you can stargaze at The Dorset Hideaway to your heart’s delight. And have we mentioned that there is a spa on site? This is the place to go to for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay for the soul, mind and body.
For the explorers amongst you, The Dorset Hideaway’s location is a treasure trove. Beer caves, sub-tropical gardens, adventure parks, donkey sanctuaries and many other attractions are all on the park’s doorstep.
The Dorset Hideaway is a small and perfectly formed drop of heaven in one of the most beautiful regions of England. It has also just won two awards! One as the best new business in Dorset, and a second award for Best Toilet and Shower Block on a campsite. Campers are guaranteed a brilliant stay and once you've been once, you'll return many times to enjoy the five star location and amenities.
