A rambler’s paradise in the midst of the Derbyshire Dales

Resting in a beautiful countryside setting in the heart of the Peak District, Barn Farm Camping offers an idyllic family-friendly camping experience. Located just a few miles from the Derbyshire Dales towns of Bakewell and Matlock, Barn Farm is ideally situated to access the diverse array of local attractions.
Nature and outdoor enthusiasts will love this site, which is located at the junction of no less than four major footpaths throughout the area. The mystical Stanton Moor with its ancient 'Nine Ladies' stone circle borders the farm and there are pleasant walks along the River Lathkill and through the Lathkill Dale.

The friendly campsite features a sloping camping field with excellent views over the Derwent Valley. The campground opens up other areas if the site gets busy, but generally, there are plenty of lovely, peaceful spots. Converted luxury camping barns dating back to the 1500s are available for those wanting an extra level of comfort.
Barn Farm has an on-site shop selling essential camping accessories and forgotten groceries. A modern toilet block provides hot showers, washing up areas and a laundrette. There are two dog and walker-friendly pubs in the nearest village, which is a short walk away.
