On the days when you just want to stay on the park we have activities and facilities for kids both young and old, as well as our private access onto the Tarka Trail.North Devon is a beautiful area with rolling patchwork country side, stunning views, fresh air and space. You can enjoy the wide open spaces of two national parks, some of the best surfing beaches, the night sky full of a thousand stars, see wildlife in their environment, take long walks or thrilling rides at one of North Devon's theme parks, discover hidden villages or just relax and watch it all go by. Come to Smytham Manor and surprise yourself in this delightful unspoilt place.You can holiday in one of our timber lodges or for a little more adventure we now have camping pods, as well as traditional camping and caravanning.

From the M5 towing a trailer. Take junction 27 west on the A361. Continue for 34 miles to Barnstaple. At roundabout follow the A39 west towards Bideford. At forth roundabout turn left on to the B3232 towards Torrington, continue for 9 miles. In Torrington at first roundabout turn right, at the second turn left on the A386. Continue for 2.5 miles, Smytham Manor's entrance will be on your right. From Exeter. Join the A30 heading west to Okehampton. At Okehampton exit the A30 on to the B3260 head in to Okehampton. At traffic lights on cross roads in the center of town, turn right towards Hathleigh and the A386. Continue north on the A386 for 17 miles. You will see Smytham Manor's entrance on the left just before Little Torrington.
