Small, family run park in an idyllic setting on the border of Devon and Cornwall

Nestled in the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the border of Devon and Cornwall, the Old Rectory Caravan and Camping Park is a lovely, family-run camping park near the market town of Tavistock in Morwellham Quay. Close to the Dartmoor National Park, and many of Devon and Cornwall's major attractions, the Old Rectory is ideally based for exploring the region.
For those looking for a peaceful countryside escape, the Old Rectory is a beautiful and relaxing location to spend your time. The camping site is set on a five-acre smallholding that is home to an array of farm animals, including Gloucester Old Spot pigs, Aylesbury ducks, Suffolk and Herdwick sheep and Shetland ponies.

Well-kept amenities include modern toilet blocks with hot showers and disabled access, a washing-up area, laundry room and fantastic kids’ play area with swings and a slide. The eco-friendly campsite has plenty of recycling facilities, as well as a welly and bike cleaning area.
Fill your stomach with farmers-style with the free-range eggs, sausages, and bacon produced on site, and an honor system of home-grown veggies picked fresh from the polytunnel. An on-site book exchange provides ample evening entertainment and well-behaved four-legged companions can be exercised in the site’s designated dog-walking field.
