Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Somerset countryside, Greenacres Campsite is a family-friendly campsite with stunning views of Glastonbury Tor. Spacious, safe and well-equipped for young families, the campground, boasts fantastic pitches, plenty of space for play and incredible wildlife.
Greenacres is close to the beautiful city of Wells, with its magnificent Cathedral and Bishops Palace, mystic Glastonbury and the historic market town of Shepton Mallet. A short drive will take you to several attractions such as the Avalon Marshes wildlife reserves, the Bath & West Showground, the Fleet Air Arm Museum, Stourhead, and excellent shopping at Clark's Village in Street. The beautiful beaches of Weston-super-Mare, Burnham-on-Sea, Lyme Regis, Weymouth and West Bay, are less than an hour away.

Greenacres caters for caravans, motorhomes, small campervans and tents with 40 large, grassy pitches, 13 of which have electric hook-ups. An immaculately maintained toilet block features toilets, hot water showers, and wash basins.
Fridge-freezers are available for campers use and fresh eggs, milk and cold drinks can be purchased from reception. There are bikes of all sizes for hire and toys for younger campers and a small information hut packed with books and local information to borrow. Campfires and BBQs are allowed on the ground, but if you don’t feel like cooking, the family-friendly Lion at Pennard pub is a short walk away and offers hearty fare.

reenacres is 3/4 mile west of North Wootton village, at the centre of a triangle linking the towns of Wells, Shepton Mallet and Glastonbury. From the M5 take Exit 23 to Wells. The best approach is from the A39 Glastonbury/Wells road at Brownes Garden Centre. Follow the brown campsite signs. From Shepton Mallet take the A37 and A361 through Pilton, then turn right at Steanbow and follow the brown campsite signs (2 miles).
