Waterside camping set in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park

Sandy Haven is a pretty little campsite set right on the beach of a tidal estuary. It’s perfect for young families and for those who enjoy walking, watersports, fishing and bird watching.
The site has one flat field and one sloping field with fantastic views across the bay. It’s a short stroll to the beach which is sandy in parts and has lots of rock pools. Kids can go crabbing from a small causeway across the inlet at low tide. Folly farm is also a great day out for the kids and only half an hour away.
The charming seaside of town of Tenby is within half an hour of Sandy Haven. Try a visit to Caldey Island, one of the oldest monasteries in Great Britain.

Sandy Haven Camping Park is an old-fashioned camp with no shop, no electrical hook up and no hair dryers and - but this does not detract from a relaxing and enjoyable time. The well maintained facilities consist of a toilet, shower and dishwashing block. Grass in the middle of the field is reserved for kids to play safely within view. Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a lead and there are lovely walks for dogs in the surrounding area. Milford Haven is 4 miles away and has a Tesco for replenishing supplies.
