Listen to the buzzards and wood-peckers in the daytime, and the owls at night. See all the stars and the milky-way (if its not cloudy) - No light pollution. Wake to an amazing dawn chorus of bird-song. Walk amongst blue-bells, honey-suckle, primroses, fox-gloves, wood sorrel, anemones, orchids and wild strawberries and raspberries. Not to mention endless blackberries (in season). Explore some of our 70 acre working woodland, with its many varied habitats. See how the flora and fauna vary depending on the trees present. Identify the many fungi, ferns and woodland flowers. Peaceful and secluded, but not far from town (5 miles to the centre of Brecon).

Look for the line of big oak trees going across the field. Ignore any sat-nav instructions telling you to carry on further up a steep hill Drive along the stoned track across the sheep field to the 2nd gate.
