GENERAL TERMS OF TENANCY
IN CASE OF MODIFICATION OF VAT.ALL OUR PRICES WILL BE INCREASED FROM THE NEW VAT RATE
Due to the Covid, the services offered on the campsite may be degraded.
RECEPTION
At your arrival please present yourself at the receptiondesk(open time:9 am-12am/2pm-7pm). A confidential code of 6 number giving access to the campsite will be given to you.
CAMPSITE ACCESS
A bracelet giving access to the campsite will be handed over to you after payment.(see price list)
Everybody has to wear this bracelet if he wants to get in the campsite.
SWIMMING POOL
To go to the swimming pool, a child can't be alone, an adult must be with him. The boxer shorts are forbidden at the swimming pool.
STAYING COSTS
After receipt of your reservation and deposit we will send, according to the spot available, a confirmation of booking. The balance is payable in the following conditions:
.Camping/caravaning: for each pitch, a deposit of 70 euros(which includes a non-refundables booking fees of 20 euros must be paid upon reservation. The remaining balance is to be settled without fail, 30 days before arrival( add to the total amount the tourist taxe and the eco taxe per day , per person)
. For rented accomodation ,a deposit of 25% of the total cost of the accodomation plus a non-refundable booking fee of 20 euros must be paid upon reservation. The remaining balance is to be settled without fail, 30 days before arrival( add to the total amount the tourist taxe and the eco taxe per day , per person).
If the balance is not paid within the specified time limit as outlined in this document, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and keep the keep previously paid deposit.
ABSENCE OF RIGHT TO WITHDRAW:
In accordance with article L.121-19 of the French consumer code,Camping Château de Galinée informs its customers that the sale of accommodation services provided on a specific date, or in line with a specific timeframe, is not subject to provisions regarding the 14 day withdrawal period.
CANCELLATIONS
1-On the part of the campsite
If your stay is cancelled through reasons of our responsibility (with the exception of extremme unforeseen circumstances forcing us to cancel in the interest of safety and security), the total sum of money paid by way of deposit will be fully reimbursed.
2- On the part of the tenant
In order to compensate for the breaking of the contract : a cancellation more than 30 days before the arrival date will result in the deposit being witheld by the campsite. IF a cancellation is made less than 30 days before the arrival date, the price of the holiday will have to be paid in full of the campsite.
For these reasons, we strongly advise to take our cancellation insurance.
In the event of cancellation, we ask for a written confirmation. Except in
the case of force majeure, generating a definitive impediment within the
meaning of Article 1218 of the Civil Code, no refund will be made. No
refund will be made in the event of a late arrival or an interruption of the
stay. To protect yourself against this situation, you have the possibility to
take out a travel cancellation and interruption insurance with our partner
company Gritchen Affinity, which is optionally proposed at a price of 4.5%
of the amount of the stay (with a minimum of 12 euros for a pitch and a minimum of 15 euros for rental a accomodation). Gritchen Affinity will refund all or part of the
amounts paid. If the claim is covered in their General Sales Conditions
(available at www.campez-couvert.com or via the campsite), please notify
the insurer within 48 hours and provide all the necessary information and
supporting documents.
-100% of the hiring fees in the case of an event occuring less than 30 days before this date.
DURING YOUR STAY, This warranty stops take effect from the first day of your rental.
It allows you to be reimbursed and (e) of wholes amount paid out the amount of insurance and fees. To be admissible, the cancellation must be notified by registered letter
The pitches are kept for 24 hours following the specified date of arrival. After this period, the pitch the pitch will be liberated and the amount already paid be forfeited. If you arrive late you must advice us of a late arrival IN WRITING.
DEPOSIT FOR EVERY RENTED ACCOMODATION
A deposit of 280 euros must be paid on arrival to cover any damage that may occur. The deposit will be refunded on departure, or within the following 10 days with an eventual deduction of costs of damage at the accomodation or the value of missing or broken material. Every anomaly or deterioration must be signalled with 24 hours after arrival. A fixed amount of 80 euros will be kept on the depostit if the accomodation is not rendered in a perfectly clean condition. The deposit will not be construed as restricing the renter's liability.(If you want to safe time when you arrive, please prepare in advance the amount of your deposit of 200 euros and one of 80 euros for doing the housework).
DAMAGES
The campsite facilities and equipment mut be only be used according to their original intented purpose and function. We advise our customers to be aware that they will be held fully responsible for any damages caused to the buidlings and furniture owned by the campsite. The group leaderstaying in the campsite-owne accomodation or in possession of a rented emplacement will be held personally responsible for any loss or damage inflictid upon the property either by one of the members of this holiday party or by visitor.
DOMESTIC PETS
Pets are permitted on the campsite(but not in the accomodation) providing that they have been declared at the time of reservation and they do not disturb the tranquility or threaten the security of other holidaymakers. All domestic animals must be conform to the basic rules of hygiene. Dogs must be kept on a lead and owners of all animals must be able to present a valid vaccination booklet. Domestic pets are not allowed to entry into the water park. According to article 211-1 of the rural law and according to ministerial implementing decrees and orders, dogs of the 1st category'assault dogs'(pittbulls) are prohibited. Dogs of the 2nd category 'watchdogs and defence dogs'(Rottweiler and alike....) must be muzzled and kept on a lead by a major(art211-5 of R.L)
CAMPSITE RULES AND REGULATIONS:DISTURBANCE AND IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOUR
NIGHT TIME NOISE LEVELS
Residents are asked to respect the campsite rules at all times, especially those regardin night time nose levels. Copies of the campsite rules and regulations are held at the reception
CAUSING A DISTURBANCE AND IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOUR
Tenant are responsible for any trouble or disturbance caused by the members of their family or holiday party whilst staying at the campsite. If a resident causes a disturbance or generally makes him or herself a nuisance to other holidaymakers due to inappropriate and irresponsible behaviour he will be removed immediately from the camspsite, in such an event no refund will be given and person in question will be forced to pay for any damages caused whatsoever to the campsite or to other residents.
RESPONSIBILITES OF THE CAMPSITE
Apart from its obligatory legal responsabilities, Campsite Chateau de Galinée can not be held responsible for:
-theft, loss or damage of whatever nature, during the following a tenant's stay at the campsite
- breakdown or malfunctioning of technical equipment, breakdown or closure of campsite facilities.
Measures taken by the site manager limiting access to certain facilities, including swimming pool, in the interest of safety and or security or due to routine maintenance works. We reserve the right to modify the structure and pake up of the campsite as we see fit.
MEDIATION :
In the event of a dispute, you may contact us : send a registered letter with proof of delivery to the CAMPSITE CHATEAU DE GALINEE direction. If you're not satisfied with the answer you receive, you may refer to the Medicys mediation centre after a period of one month following the time you have sent these letters. IMAGE REPRODUCTION RIGHTS:
You give permission to CHATEAU DE GALINEE CAMPSITE, as well as to any person chosen by CHATEAU DE GALINEE CAMPSITE, to take pictures of you, to record you or to film you during your stay at the CHATEAU DE GALINEE CAMPSITE and to use the resulting images, sounds, videos and recordings on any sales support promoting our campsite.
This permission applies for you as well as for people staying with you. The sole purpose of this is to promote and to provide information about CHATEAU DE GALINEE CAMPSITE and may in no event damage your reputation. This permission is provided free of charge for all countriesand for a period of 10 years. We also want to inform you that the campsite is under video surveillance. In accordance with the French legislation, an application has been filed in the prefecture.
Any controversy regarding the interpretation or execution of the contract herewith or related consequences will be brought before the competent court.
