II - Chalets for rent
1/ ARRIVAL
In July and August the accommodation is rented weekly from Saturday 4pm until the following Saturday 10am. However, during school term time, the accommodation can be rented for any length of time.
If the prospective tenant wishes to delay their arrival date, they must inform us of the revised date by e-mail, telegram or fax as early as possible (please note that telephone messages are not acceptable). If we do not hear from you the accommodation will become available to others 24 hours after the date specified on your booking form. The outstanding balance will remain due in totality.
2/ NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS
We would like to remind you that each chalet has a maximum capacity of 6 persons, and cannot exceed this. The camp site declines all responsibility if the number of occupants should exceed this number. Please note that an infant or child still counts as one person. The site manager has the right to turn down any person, adult or child, regardless of their age, if the chalet capacity is exceeded.
3/ BOOKING
Once you have contacted us to check availability, your provisional booking will be held for up to 7 days. The booking is confirmed on receipt of the 25% deposit and the signed booking form.
The accommodation can only be used by those named on the booking form and can not be sublet to anybody else.
Once the deposit is received, no modification of the invoice will be considered. Any provisional booking not confirmed within 7 days will automatically be cancelled.
4/ PAYMENT OF OUTSTANDING BALANCE
The outstanding balance is to be paid on arrival at the camp site. In the event of a balance remaining unpaid on the agreed date, the camp site has the right to cancel the booking and therefore apply the terms and conditions stipulated in article 9/ below.
5/ LATE BOOKING
In case of a booking made less than a month before arrival, the full payment will be requested at the time of the booking.
6/ SERVICES AND OBLIGATIONS
The tenant is responsible for the cleaning of the chalet. A cleaning deposit of 50 Euros is required on arrival and will be refunded according to the terms & conditions stipulated in article 7/ below.
Please note that some of the available activities, entertainment and services could be subject to a local charge.
7/ DEPOSITS
A deposit of 300 Euros for the furniture & equipment plus a deposit of 50 Euros for the cleaning will be requested on arrival. These will be refunded within 2 weeks following the end of your stay, provided that the chalet is left clean and without any damage. Any costs for repairing or replacing any damaged or missing items will be withheld from your deposit refund.
The tenant should be given an inventory of the chalet contents, and will be responsible for checking this on arrival. Any discrepancy should be reported to the site manager as soon as possible. The inventory of each chalet is available on request.
If you vacate the chalet either early or late in the day, an assessment of the premises with the management will not be possible. In this case you must accept the manager's decision about the possible retention of a part or the full amount of the deposit(s) in case of cleaning or repairs considered necessary.
The tenant cannot insist that the assessment is carried out outside the campsite's normal timetable.
8/ PETS
Only one cat or dog is allowed per chalet. This must be kept on a lead and should be fully vaccinated. The tenant must be able to present all compulsory vaccination certificates to the site manager on request.
However, Category 1 dogs are not allowed on the camp site or in the chalets; and Category 2 dogs must be muzzled at all times, and should be kept on a lead by an adult. The site manager has the right to refuse entry to any dog owner who does not respect this clause.
9/ CANCELLATION
Cancellation: If you want to cancel a booking you must notify us in writing. Cancellation will be effective on the date it is received by us. We do not refund any deposit.
We do advise all customers to take out Holiday/Travel Insurance in the event you need cancel your holiday.
Cancellation insurance: For 2,7% of the amount of your stay, you can subscribe to a cancellation insurance to receive back the monies paid.

10/ AMENDMENTS
From the tenant: We accept any modification of the booking date subject to availability.
However, if an e-mail, telegram or fax from the tenant requesting a delay to the arrival date, is not received (NB: A phone call is not an acceptable form of notification), the accommodation will become available to others 24 hours after the date specified on the booking form. The outstanding balance will still remain due in totality and no rebate will be granted for late arrival or early departure.
From the operator: In the event that a stay has to be modified before commencement due to serious reasons; the prospective tenant has up to 7 days (once informed) to decide whether to:
- Terminate the booking under the terms & conditions stated in clause 9/ above; or
- Accept the alterations by signing an endorsement to the letting agreement which will cover all modifications – and, if necessary, by accepting the subsequent rebate or cost increase.
11/ CLAIMS
All claims pertaining to the services must be addressed to the camp site no later than 21 days after the end of the stay and via recorded delivery to allow for a response in good time.
12/ CANCELLATION INSURANCE
Costs of repatriation and cancellation insurances are not included in the overall cost.
13/ RULES AND REGULATIONS
All tenants must scrupulously abide to the camp site's rules and regulations which are displayed at the site entrance – a copy of which can be obtained on request at any time. It is for the tenant to ensure that appropriate insurance is in place to cover the duration of their stay, as the camp site declines all responsibility in the event of theft, fire, bad weather or various other incidents relating to the tenant's responsibility.
