Bookings and payment
Reservation arrangements
For bookings, a prepayment of 40% of the total booking amount plus handling charges are requested.
Handling charges are :
For pitches : 8€
For rentals :
o Low season : 12€.
o Week-end package : 10€.
o High season (July and August) : 16€.
The reservation is accepted and effective when the contract is completed, dated and signed with the prepayment, and when we have confirmed.
The reservation is personal : it is forbidden to transfer it to another person or to sub-let.
For modification of the number of people, you must advise us before you arrive. For each booking, the maximum people allowed is written on the contract (child and baby included).
Any modification of the contract must be noted and accepted by the campsite.
Every client must present themselves to reception on arrival to book in and deal with the formalities. The reception will give them the keys and the number of pitch or property.
All clients are liable to pay for any damaged cause to another person or their property during their stay.
Payment of the balance
For each reservation, the balance and the tourist tax (required by french law) must be paid 30 days before you arrive.
For bookings before 30 days until the arrival, you must pay the total booking amount when you reserve.
Duration of stay
For the properties, arrival must be between 3 :00 pm and 6 :30 pm, and departure must be between 9 :00am and 12 :00 pm.
For pitches, arrival must be between 9 :00am and 6 :30pm, and departure must be between 9 :00am and 12 :00pm.
Please advise us if your arrival will be later than stated. Unfortunately during high season the departure times must be adhered to. If you are delayed or if you have to leave early, there will be no refunds or reductions given.
Deposit
The deposit is paid on arrival either in cash or by credit card imprint (the amount of the deposit is not
charged, but it is retained).
For each rental, two deposits will be requested :
One for possible damage caused to the property of 300€
One for the cleaning of 43€ to cover possible charges to do with cleaning when you leave
(e.g. cleaning, dirty blankets, hairs on blankets, dirty dishes, smell of tobacco….)
The cleaning must be done by the renter.
For the pitches, a deposit of 30€ will be requested for the barrier code card.
We will give you your money back when you leave if nothing is damaged.
All the equipment in the mobile-homes is written on an inventory, equipment for kitchen, bed
protection, pillows, blankets, duvets. Sheets aren't included.
Methods of payment accepted
Cheques payable to Camping le Pavillon are allowed for the deposit and to pay the booking thirty
days before the beginning of the stay. It is not possible to pay by cheque if your reservation is less
than thirty days before your arrival, in this case we will accept a bank card or cash. On site, we don't
accept payment by cheque.
Disorders, disturbances and abuse of animals
If you are responsible for one of these problems, you are obliged to leave the campsite immediately,
without a refund or reduction.
Cancellation conditions
The campsite offers you optional Cancellation and Interruption insurance in your rental contract. Our
partner Gritchen Affinity will refund all or part of the stay only to customers that have purchased
Campez Couvert insurance.
In case of cancellation, please notify the campsite of your cancellation as soon as an event occurs that
prevents your departure, by letter or by email. If the claim is covered in the general conditions
(available at www.campez-couvert.com or from the campsite), please notify the insurer within 48 hours
and provide all the necessary information and supporting documents.
In high season, we can hold your pitch until 12 :00 noon the day after your intended arrival, please
inform us at your earliest convenience. Any later than this could result in your pitch being reserved to another camper.
Internal rules
The rules of procedure are in the reception, every body must respect them.
Silence must be respected from midnight to 7 :00 am, the speed limit on site is 10mph. It's
forbidden to drive in the campsite between 10 :00pm and 7 :00am (the barrier is closed).
You may be filmed or photographed during your stay, if you would prefer not to be, please
contact the reception.
The swimming pool is not manned by lifeguards , the children are the sole responsibility of
the parents.
You must not enter the swimming pool with shoes or socks, eat, drink or swim with clothes
on.
Playground : the children are the sole responsibility of the parents.
Pets : animals are allowed, they must be on a lead, chipped and vaccinated.
Animals are not allowed in the swimming pool, playground, communal showers. Bags are available at
reception to clean up after your pets.
One vehicle per pitche is allowed.
Visitors must present themselves to reception, must park outside and pay the fee to use the
facilities.
For mobile homes you have to bring covers for the duvets and sheets to protect the blankets.
