Catanger Llama Farm near Towcester is a peaceful and scenic site that offers one pitch and a gypsy caravan set in the heart of the countryside surrounded by nature and wildlife. Located on the farm, which is home to a herd of llamas, this is a great location if you love animals and want some peace and quiet.
The shepherd’s hut-like caravan is fully equipped for maximum comfort and boasts beautiful views over the Tove Valley. Once you have had your fair share of peace and quiet, try one of the llama-trekking trips run from the farm where you explore the surrounding countryside on the back of a llama!

The gypsy caravan is fully equipped with a comfy pull-out double bed and two camp beds for kids (the caravan is only suitable for two adults and up to two children under 12 years old). A picnic table with chairs and crockery and cutlery provide for campfire cooking and a covered balcony offers gorgeous views. If you don't fancy cooking, there are several local pubs that serve delicious pub fare.
While the caravan doesn’t have bathroom facilities, guests have exclusive use of the wetroom in the Catanger Visitor Centre, with shower, toilet, washbasin and hot water, as well as a utility room with tea and coffee making facilities and a washing up area.

Catager is just outside the village of Lois Weedon on the Wappeham road. Look for the sign in the gateway and follow the drive down to the buildings. On the M40: Exit at junction 11 for Banbury and take the A422 towards Brackley for approximately 1 mile. At the roundabout at the top of the hill turn left onto the B4525. Continue for another 3 miles and take the left turn signposted Thorpe Mandeville. Follow this road for another 3 miles to the Cultworth/Weston crossroads. Turn right to Weston. Drive through Weston and Lois Weedon. As you leave Lois Weedon you will see two farm drives on your right followed by a sharp right-hand bend with a lodge house on the right. We are the second field on the left from the bend. Look for the sign, follow the drive down to the buildings. On the M1: Exit junction 15a and take the A43 towards Oxford. At Towcester follow the ringroad to the south and at the last roundabout (McDonald’s) take a right turn signposted Abthorpe and Wappenham. Drive through Abthorpe and onto Wappenham and in the middle of the village turn right signposted Lois Weedon and Weston. Catanger is about 2 miles from Wappenham and is on your right just before you reach Lois Weedon (often named Weedon Lois!). Look out for the sign at the gate and follow the drive down to the buildings.
