The Old Pine Yurt is situated under an ancient Scots Pine tree on the East side of Tom Beag, one of the foothills of the Cairngorms, overlooking beautiful Strathavon.

Only accommodating one booking at a time, it is the perfect relaxed setting for a private retreat. Adjacent to the Yurt is the Hut, where you will find books, games, local information and a comfy seating area.

From A9 Northbound: From Perth head up the A9 north towards Inverness. Go past the turnings for Aviemore and take the turn off for the A95 towards Grantown-on-Spey. When you approach Grantown, bear right at both roundabouts and stay on the A95 heading towards Keith & Elgin. After _ a mile, take the A939 towards Tomintoul. Stay on the A939 for around 12 miles until you pass through Bridge of Brown. As you leave Bridge of Brown you will cross over a cattle grid. 1 mile after the cattle grid you will see the ФFodderletterХ sign on the right. From A9 Southbound: From Inverness, take the A9 south towards Perth. After around 20 miles, look out for the sign for Slochd Summit. Prepare for the next left-hand turning a mile or two after that, which is the A938 towards Carrbridge. At Carrbridge bear left towards Dulnain Bridge. Carry on this road for around 6 miles, through Dulnain Bridge and then left on the A95 towards Grantown-on-Spey. When you approach Grantown, bear right at both roundabouts and stay on the A95 heading towards Keith & Elgin. After _ a mile, take the A939 towards Tomintoul. Stay on the A939 for around 12 miles until you pass through Bridge of Brown. As you leave Bridge of Brown you will cross over a cattle grid. 1 mile after the cattle grid you will see the ФFodderletterХ sign on the right. From A95 South: From Aberlour, continue on A95 towards Grantown-on-Spey. At Ballindalloch turn left on the B9008 towards Tomintoul. Continue for around 4-5 miles until Glenlivet, where you should bear right on the B9136. Continue on this road for 8 miles, eventually reaching the road junction at the Bridge of Avon. Turn right over the bridge and continue uphill for _ mile. You will see the ФFodderletterХ sign on the left. From A939 North West: From Aberdeen/Braemar, pass through Lecht Ski Area heading towards Tomintoul. At T-junction turn left, and then at next T-junction turn right into Tomintoul village. Pass through the village and head out towards Grantown-on-Spey on the A939. About two miles after leaving the village, follow the road round to the left over the bridge and continue uphill for _ mile. You will see the ФFodderletterХ sign on the left.
