Camping Les ACACIAS

Situated 15 kms north of Gérardmer in the Vosges, Les Acacias is open all year. From June to September it has a wonderful natural environment; in winter, it becomes a 3-star caravan park close to the ski resorts in the Vosges (Gérardmer, Xonrupt) and is very popular with winter sports enthusiasts. Set at the crossroads of Lorraine and Alsace, it is also an ideal destination for people who want to explore the thousand and one delights of the two regions. The campsite is set amid lush greenery and boasts an outdoor swimming pool, large children’s playground, table tennis, grocery shop, bar-restaurant and sports grounds. There is also an area for camper vans and motorbikes, with picnic shelters and water supply. Each season has its own form of accommodation. In summer, there are vast, grassy, flat, well-shaded pitches while in winter during the skiing season, chalet, mobile home, bungalow and caravan rentals are particularly popular. In the peak season, Fernand the Winegrower holds tasting sessions with Alsace wines. Rollerbladers and cyclists have a dedicated 3km track accessible directly from the campsite. Walkers can use the trim course in the forest near the campsite or the main signposted footpaths around the Roche du Sphinx. Of course, the region also has some superb buildings that are well worth a visit in Colmar, Kaysersberg, Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle, Lunéville, Baccarat etc.
